Katherine makes her 2023 directorial film debut with her own screenplay The Delicate Cycle, after writing and directing five stage plays. She is a screenwriter, playwright, songwriter and actress.
While freelance writing across genres, she most resonates with stories that put forward an entertaining, socially relevant message. Released film projects include Immigrant Mother, featuring Emmy-award winning Ted Lasso’s Cristo Fernández (Dani Rojas, “fútbol is life”) and most recently, the film I’m Gonna Tell God Everything, a child’s view on the Syrian conflict, shown to world leaders to promote peace, and released on Gandhi's birthday, Oct. 2, 2022, garnering 6 million views on YouTube.

At the November 2022 American Film Market Katherine won the screenwriting pitch contest and is currently being mentored by Will McCance with Ian Bryce Productions (Transformers, Saving Private Ryan) for the feature film California Viking, a romantic comedy set in the Danish town of Solvang.

Feature films in pre-production include Black Gun, Curry to America and Divided Hearts, all chronicling African-American experience across modern drama, musical romantic-comedy and period-piece drama, respectively, as well as the Fantasy trilogy Love Gate, which captures the market’s appetite for women-led content with originality and feminine authenticity.
