A Sci-Fi Drama that follows Johnny Dawson, a professional gamer. In an experimental VR couples therapy lab, he waits somewhat patiently for his wife, Katelyn, only for her not to show up. His therapist, Doctor Murray, offers a solution to move forward without her. Eager to start the session, Johnny lays back in his chair, ready to enter the virtual world.
In the VR world, Johnny experiences the true meaning of stepping into another person’s shoes. He mentally and physically lives as his wife during the rise of their relationship and, most importantly, the fall. He gets to relive moments from when they met, the first date, his proposal, and every time he made her feel alone. After returning from the VR world with a new outlook, Johnny meets with Katelyn to sign the divorce papers he’s been dreading. After discovering he’s given up the most important thing in his life, she asks to hear details of what happened at the therapy session.
