Been Better, Actually
Malibu Film Festival (2023) Shorts • 11m
Been Better, Actually is a story told through the perception of the character, "HER” who is living in romantic nostalgia. Much like how our memory works, the film is told in a non-linear form with snap shots of a couples’ journey from the day they first met to the present day.
We find, “HIM & HER”, meeting for the first time after having been apart for a year and a half and over the course of the film we see moments from their past, from a glimpse of two humans destined for each other to seeing them masking their heartbreak and trying to make sense of what happened.
