Addy, who's rendered job-less, car-less, and stranded, is a month behind on her rent. Molly, while driving her Pomeranian home from acupuncture, sees Addy and offers her a ride. Molly is devastated by her recent breakup with her influencer-boyfriend, and she needs a place to stay. Addy is devastated by her new financial realities, and is thrilled to accept Molly's rent money. So, though they don’t know it yet, a lifetime friendship is born.
