Jane Brill is an award winning filmmaker and editor with over 20 years of experience. Her film AL DIAZ: LIKE A BOMB won Best Documentary at the Latino International Film Expo and the Film Crash Film Festival (2022) . It is the first film in her series which profiles Artists from the Lower East Side.
Her work has screened at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the New York Video festival at Lincoln Center, The Kitchen NYC, REDCAT Theatre in Los Angeles and premiered on PBS in NY and Boston, MA. Brill’s editing work includes feature-length and magazine-format documentaries for CBS, PBS, ABC, Logo, MTV and the Sundance Channel.
Brill received her BFA from the California Institute of the Arts in1988.
